A family member was recently admitted onto Enlli ward, for day surgery the attitude of some of the nures ( not all, I should add) was quite shocking, think some of them need to go on a refresher course, on how to interact with people patients and families...the HCA's however were fantastic. You are made to feel guilty, if you ask or question something, even though its about your loved ones care. Also, why do they always say its " just routine ", well it might be just routine to them, but it's not for the patient or their families.....quite shocking really, but not one member of staff introduced themselves, only Ann the ward clerk, who came into the bay with a tick box leaflet, to comment on the wards care (hmmmm, questionable)....well done you though "Ann on introducing yourself...think this really needs to be addressed though....sorry Enlli, but how can you improve on things, if you are not told....

I cannot praise the staff on Enlli ward enough. They have a lot to put up with. But it was obvious that if patients respect the staff they will be treated the same. I had a pleasant stay despite having surgery, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I was very impress the way everything worked like clockwork once I was admitted - xray, physio, post op care, discharge and follow up appointments.

I attended on 16.8.19 with a dislocated patella and was given efficient & excellent care from the kind paramedics then the A&E staff. Friendly nurses with helpful medics soon had my knee back in place. Very kind radiographer got the x-rays needed without having to remove the brace. It was obviously a typically busy Friday night but the staff got me sorted with crutches and painkillers in a timely manner when they could. Best of the NHS!

Horrendous care for my mother. I will write a further review detailing everything shortly. My greatest advice is not to visit this hospital.

Fantastic care as always. All the staff are very professional, and the level of care is excellent. They all do an amazing job in a very difficult and stressful environment.

For true emegency treatment this place is the best on the planet. I experienced evidence of this with both my parents. For everything else the watch word is kick around wondering what's going on. No one seems to be in charge. There are plenty of hard working nursing staff but they can't tell you how long something is going to take because the senior level beyond ward level seems unaproachable, no one dare ask what's going on. There is an abundance of serious kit available plus expertise. If this was a commercial operation in industry you'd say it was a management shambles. Receptionists serve no useful purpose other then to say "take a seat", providing they can look up.

A few months ago I visited the after hours clinic in Ysbyty Gwynedd after suffering abdominal pain. I was seen by a young male gynaecologist who I felt didn’t take me seriously at all. He was dismissive and came across arrogant. I left the hospital feeling even more ashamed of my situation. I lightly told him how he made me feel before leaving. He called me the next morning to ask if I wanted to come back in, which I felt was not genuine and really only to cover himself. I was due to go traveling a few days later. If I’d of known my health was at risk I would never of gone. I ended up in a foreign country alone having to have blood transfusions and emergency surgery. It was a delicate situation that was handled very wrong from the moment I spoke to him and I hope no one else is made that feel like that.

I was a patient August 2nd to 5th 2018 on Dulas Ward, admitted through A/E with severe tonsillitis, the care I received was excellent from every member of staff. Within the hour of presenting with symptoms I had treatment given which hastened my good recovery, I am so grateful to the dedicated nurses and Dr's who treated me with care and dignity. Can't think of anything to improve on just please continue what you all are doing you are all amazing staff, and the hospital is so clean, well done to all the cleaners who do a very hard demanding job, thank you so much.
